About the Item
A fine Louis XV style upholstered bergere with deep seating and carved fruitwood frame, floral cresting rail and resting upon carved cabriole legs. The chair is upholstered in a patterned two Silk fabric with sheen and solid piping. The side panels with a cartouche form are in contrasting solid taupe fabric, all double welted.
Dimensions: 32 1/2" W, 32" D, 21" seat height, 38 1/2" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are a few acceptable signs of age including one old gauge to cross stretcher on back rest (see last photo), light wear to frame with the Bergere presenting particularly well.
