About the Item
A generous French Louis XV period armchair or bergere (Circa 1760), newly-upholstered in Scalamandre green and white Chinoiserie pattered toile fabric, with separate down-stuffed seat cushion. The bergere's frame is painted green and light brown, and has nice floral and acanthus carving and cabriole legs, typical of the Louis XV era.
