A fine pair of French Belle Époque 19th-20th century Louis XV style giltwood carved Bergère Armchairs. The finely carved frames centered with floral torch tied with a ribbon, flanked by floral carvings, rounded padded sides, backs and seat, fitted with a cushion, raised on four cabriolet legs topped with carved acanthus and wreath decorations. Recently upholstered, Paris, circa 1890-1900.

- Condition:Repaired: Touch ups to gilding. Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. A truly beautiful pair of Bergère. Overall condition in very good with some minor touch-ups to the gilt. The upholstery is recent, some spotting and wear. Very attractive and decorative. Please view all images and video.
