About the Item
Pair of Louis XVI style bergeres custom upholstered in a hi-low fabric decorated with oak leaf branches, birds and animals and gold metallic twist piping. The chairs with a gold carved frame with spiral ribbon motif, foliate carvings on the arms, egg and dart trim around the perimeter. Additionally the chairs with marchettes, carved crest with ribbon and foliate motifs and the whole resting upon tapering fluted legs.
Dimensions: 28" W, 29 1/2" D, 18 1/2" seat height and 44 3/4" H
Condition: Various signs of age include flaking to gold finish and some loose welt trim. Acceptable general wear that is consistent with use with the Pair retaining an exceptional presentation. Please see detail photos for condition.
