About the Item
Vintage cantilever chair with hand woven seat and sheet caned back. Manufactured in Italy, 1970s.
Made from a singular tube which curves geometrically to create an incredibly striking whole. The interplay between the organic and neutral tones of the cane, weaving, and wood; and the chromed tubing results in a piece harmonious in any setting.
Even patina on the chrome, slightly more on the bottom of the legs, commensurate of age. The woven seat is strong, but with some loose threads - these are only aesthetic issues. There are no faults in the caning, which may have been replaced, but has age.
