About the Item

A scarcely seen 19th c. spindle back barrel chair with George Hunzinger Windsor chair influences. Marvelous character in the unusual splayed carved dolphin heads arms, bent surround, turned spindles, stretchers legs with mortise tenon joinery. Enhanced with new custom cushion. Seat: with cushion: 211" H / without cushion: 18".
