About the Item

19th century heavily carved Flemish walnut decorative chair circa 1890. Carved back rest with mythical head, cherubs, armorial design and cornucopia.  Carved pattern to the shaped seat.  Front  legs with carved griffins, scrolls and a further mythical head.  Standing on scrolled feet. Fantastic decorative piece. Good rich colour and patina. Expected minor restorations to carving, minor surface marks.
