About the Item

19th Century Early Victorian Church Side Chair. We came across this chair in our travels and we bought it simply because of our passion for simple church chairs. Very Shaker in style it simplicity is it's beauty, made of solid elm with the original hand woven rush seat. Please note the seat height is a low 38cm so it is more of a low side or bedroom chair. Seat Height: 38cm Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
