About the Item

A fine pair of 19th century French fauteuil armchairs in giltwood. They have been finely carved with theatrical masks, flutes and other musical instruments. Beautiful floral upholstery with a pale green and cream edging, the spring colours of the upholstery compliment the giltwood perfectly. Originally from a French Chateau, these are a stunning piece from 19th century France.
