Highly decorative late 19th Century salon chair in the Italian taste.
This fine quality chair is made by the eminent makers Edwards
Roberts of Wardour Street and Oxford Street, London. Painted throughout with classic scenes and floral ornaments.The shaped back has an incredibly intricate scene of lovers in a garden to the front and musical instruments to the rear.
With open armrests, this chair rests on cabriole legs terminating on pad feet.
