About the Item

Dino Gavina began his activity as early as the 1940s with objects for theater sets, his great passion. Convinced of the need for design that was modern but also rich in poetry, he gradually succeeded in involving many prominent personalities of the time. His work constitutes the starting point of the so-called Italian Style. He was one of the most influential figures in the world of industrial design, and he is credited with the authorship of design as we understand it today for the strong innovations and influences he brought to the field. Here we have a pair of chairs mod. Tripolina with a foldable wooden structure, metal details and leather covering. Produced by Gavina Studio. Very good condition, fully original. Ready to be shipped. For shipping: consider that each chair can be dismantled as follows: 118 (h) x 18 (l) x 10 (d) cm and the upholstery can be dismantled too apart.
