About the Item
This elegant pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern easy chairs was designed by Wilhelm “Willy” Knoll and produced by Walter Knoll in Stuttgart, Germany, as part of the Antimott series. Handcrafted from solid beechwood, the chairs display a warm light-brown finish and refined proportions characteristic of postwar German design.
Each lounge chair features a gently curved seat, an open backrest, and slim arched armrests, all supported by four gracefully curved wooden legs. The sculptural yet understated silhouette reflects Walter Knoll’s tradition of combining comfort, craftsmanship, and modern elegance.
Wear is consistent with age and use, contributing to the authentic vintage character of the set.
