About the Item
A rare set of 6 mid 18th century American Queen Anne dining chairs. Made from solid mahogany with a curved crest rail over traditional Queen Anne backsplat, flanked by curvaceous stiles leading to green felt lined seats. The chairs are supported by cabriole legs with trifid feet along the front and stump legs at the rear. Constructed via mortise and Tenon joinery. The chair seats are easily removed for re-upholstery. A remarkable set with a warm and rich wood tone and beautiful wood grain. The perfect addition to any space.
