Barberini
Gunnell, founded in 2009 in Ancona, Italy by architects Francesco Barberini and Nina A. Gunnell, is the result of a philosophy, thinking of design and architecture as a work of art. The architectural and interior design activity carried out by ‘The Studio’ complements the creations of ‘The Atelier’, which are the result of an artistic playground and highly skilled craftsmanship, a place where artworks and sculptures come to life.

The Atelier Barberini
Gunnell creates artworks and collectible designs, one-off pieces, and limited editions for a small niche of high-end projects; bespoke solutions for luxury and ultra-luxury projects all over the world.
The choice of the most precious materials, the maniacal cure for detail is the basis of our modus operandi aiming to create timeless pieces, using marine grade stainless steel, brass, cast bronze, precious wood essences, marbles, onyxes, semi-precious gemstones, crystal glass, together with the most sophisticated technologies and quality craftsmanship.
