About the Item

This antique mountain chair is a beautiful example of traditional South German craftsmanship from the early 19th century. Crafted from solid pine, it is assembled entirely with mortise and tenon joints. This particular piece features an old, light-brown paint finish that has worn away characteristically over time. A primitive repair is also visible on the backrest. All of this gives the chair a unique, genuine appearance and emphasizes its authenticity. The chair has been carefully inspected and is sturdy, stable, and ready for daily use. Old, occasionally present woodworm marks have been checked and treated. A uniquely decorative piece of furniture with history and character. Seat height 44cm, back height 88cm, width 43cm, depth 40cm.
