About the Item

Finnish folk art chair made during the late 1800s. The chair is hand-crafted from pine with beautifully sculptured seat and backrest. The legs, seat and vertical backrest have a intriguing carved wave-like pattern on them. The chair is stained with striking dark brown finish and has aged naturally with time and presents a beautiful patina now.
