Offered is this elegant and unique antique French Napoleon III chair, inlaid with mother-of-pearl. We ourselves are very fond of this type of chair—and this particular example is especially charming. It remains remarkably original and, considering the type of furniture, still fairly stable and usable. The cheerful, colorful fabric is a lovely addition to an already very charming piece. The chair is inlaid with mother-of-pearl and features beautiful decorative motifs. This is not a large, robust chair intended for daily use in a busy household, but it would be perfectly suitable for a quiet home or as an extra seat in a side room. The chair is still very original and shows signs of wear appropriate to its age and use—please refer to the photos. Please note: The dimensions listed in our advertisement are binding.
