About the Item
Antique French reclining armchair pair upholstered in thick heavy woven linen-like fabric in taupe with black stripes. The armchair has a selection of 8 manual reclining positions using the iron teeth side rails as shown in the photos. The chair with tight back and loose feather filled seat cushion. The chair with beautifully turned legs, H-form stretcher, exposed peg construction, armrests terminate with iron finials which pull out o serve as tray holders and the whole resting on teardrop and ball feet.
Dimensions: 25 3/4" W, 25" D, 22" seat height and 48 1/2" H
Condition: Various acceptable signs of age include a few marks to the upholstery, minor light wear and scratches to feet which do not impact the fine Provincial French presentation. . Please see detail photos for condition.
