About the Item
A fine set of eight antique Georgian, Regency period flame mahogany dining chairs, including two armchairs, circa 1820.
This very elegant set of eight Regency dining chairs are made from the finest flame mahogany, the gently curved back providing great lumbar support. The top having a crestrail with a raised recantangular flame mahogany tablet, below is square tablet joined with twin carved heart shaped supports. The chairs with ring turned legs to the front and 'sabre' shaped legs to the rear, all of the seats are upholstered in a high quality salmon colored fabric, the seats are drop in seats and can be very easily
inexpensively recovered with another fabric. There are two armchairs included in the set, the chairs are tight and stable
robust, all of the chairs are in very good condition. A fine set of antique Georgian dining chairs ready to grace your table.
