SUPERB Rare Set of Four (4) PLAIL brothers chairs This is a rare set of four (4) chairs made by PAIL Brothers in the early 1900s John and Joseph in Binghamton NY and they were the expert in steaming bending wood in the early 1900s, with original all spindles and no bow. They are in very good condition. There are three (3) arm chairs and one (1) arm rocker. The chairs are barrel chairs with a great selection of quarter sawn oak. The seats have been reupholstered with black hand-spun leather with cotton and hair filling (NO sponge!). The chairs look like they have the original finish.
