About the Item
A wonderfully well proportioned walnut desk chair attributed to G.F Armytage in from a design by Lamb of Manchester. The chair with well turned front legs, shaped square back legs supported by stretchers, beautifully embossed leather seat and back with brass studding. backrest with eight turnings and a carved splat. There are further carvings on the back legs, the desk chair also has well shaped arms.
