About the Item

Inspired by the Scandinavian heritage of design and furniture craftmanship, In Between is a result of Sami Kallio’s solid grounding in traditional wood- working techniques and his eye for ingenious detail. It started with a single chair which later resulted in a series of furniture including both tables and chairs. Dimensions : H: 77cm/30.3in, W: 58cm/22.8in, D: 54cm/21.2in, Armrest H: 70cm/27.6in, Seating H: 45cm/17.7in, Seating D: 42cm / 16.5in Material : Black Lacquered Oak / Noble Aniline Black Leather Designed By Sami Kallio Inheriting an innate appreciation for wood, the material historically used in Scandinavian design, Finnish-born Sami Kallio grew up in Sweden. It was here that he honed his skills in traditional woodworking techniques such as woodturning – mastered during his time training as a cabinetmaker.
