Exquisite Black Forest Carved Musical Side Chair, circa 1880–1900 A superb example of late 19th-century Swiss/German craftsmanship. This delightful late 19th-century Black Forest child’s chair, crafted in walnut with finely carved scrolling and foliate motifs. The backrest features an inlaid medallion depicting a mountain goat, while the seat is embellished a Stag with a floral marquetry design in contrasting colors. Resting on elegant cabriole legs, this petite chair showcases the same artistry and attention to detail found in larger Black Forest furnishings, making it a rare and decorative treasure. -Music box has been removed
