This elegant Kilta chair was designed by Finland designer Olli Mannermaa for Martela.
The Kilta chair is a Finnish design Classic. Kilta’s timeless design and very comfortable seating guarantee its continuing popularity. It is a popular vintage product from the Mid-Century modern, a testimony to its quality, durability and timelessness.
The chair is made of light polystyrene and upholstered in original black Naugahyde. This version with arms is light and very easy to handle. Kilta was the first plastic chair in Finland, due to its groundbreaking production technology. This classic design was first introduced in 1955.
This example is in wonderful all original vintage condition, ready to be used as a side chair or desk chair in a home or office.
