About the Item

Very interesting carved Oak Carolean Style armchair. Circa 1920 Raised upon typical Carolean Style Shaped and Carved Legs. The front stretched featuring a carved basket with flowers and deeply carved Sea Scrolls. The chair features a cane seat and back and barley twist stretchers and uprights. The cresting rail having carved cherubs supporting a carved basket of flowers.
