About the Item
Carved and polychrome wooden chair with cabriolet legs and openwork backrest which has been decorated with a symmetrical composition of Rococo influence in some details and Neoclassical in others. The Elizabethan style was developed in Spain during the reign of Isabel II (Elisabeth II), continuing until the late 19th century. The furniture, which seeks comfort and a certain ostentation (with relatively inexpensive materials and techniques), interprets in its own way the French Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical styles, with proportions, techniques and details typical of Spain and the 19th century, with a predominance of gold, polychrome, carvings, etc.
