About the Item

The Isabella slipper chair is one of our signature pieces. The exquisite tailored fluting and distinctive lines give a shapely feminine edge. This design is superb upholstered in a vibrant cotton velvet. Shown here upholstered in a Terracotta red cotton velvet. The legs are shown in black lacquered walnut. Also available + COM. Construction: Solid seasoned beech and birch plywood frame, with legs made from solid walnut. The seat is pocket sprung, giving it a shapely crown and the back is individually fluted. The Isabella slipper chair has also achieved British Standard EN 16139: 2013 Test Level 2. Each Stuart Scott piece is built by hand in our workshop in Wiltshire, England. Nothing is mass-produced. This ensures complete attention to detail, structural integrity and sheer build quality. We never compromise. When we finish each piece, it is signed and numbered: a unique hand-made masterpiece. Signed and individually numbered.
