About the Item
Elegant and well-proportioned easy chair crafted in solid Cuban mahogany with finely carved details. The chair is a representative example of Danish Biedermeier furniture, also referred to as late Empire, characterised by its clear, architectural form and restrained ornamentation.
The sweeping frame and armrests feature discreet carved details, including characteristic volute forms. The legs are finished with brass sabots.
Recently reupholstered in a classic striped textile.
