About the Item

Dos à Dos was designed in 1967 for the Louvre Museum, where its curves had the discreet but essential role of accommodating visitors as they admired the spellbinding antiquities and works by great European masters. It has been faithfully reproduced by La Cividina and it is still just as perfect today. It can be used in many ways, including as an eye-catching sculpture/seat. For this modern revisitation of the seat designed by Pierre Paulin in 1967 for the galleries of the Louvre museum, La Cividina has used 1970s manufacturing techniques. Covered with seamless stretch fabric in a chic orange hue, the clover-shaped tubular steel structure is reinforced with elastic webbing and multi-density memory foam padding to ensure a sturdy yet flexible frame. This seater can be used alone or connected to others using an invisible fastening system to form infinite combinations for all aesthetic needs. Seat height: 41 cm. Available also in pink, purple, ruby, and aquamarine.
