About the Item

Ed Archer Arm Chair by Philippe Starck for Aleph Driade Designer Philippe Starck (1949) Brand Aleph Driade, Italy Era 1980’s Material metal, aluminium, black leather Size 47 cm x 55 cm x 98 cm I 48 cm Weight 13 kg Condition very good original Selected items – We change the way you think about forever. Philippe Starck, 1980s! Postmodern, reduced, sculptural – objects that are suitable for living spaces and at the same time function like works of art within a room. The naming was deliberately chosen by Starck to be humorous, provocative, and intentionally unconventional. Visually provocative, technically innovative, and at the same time functional. Design as an expression of freedom and individuality. The model “Ed Archer” was designed in 1987 by the French star designer and architect Philippe Starck. It was produced by the Italian company ALEPH / Driade. Made of metall, aluminium and black leather. The chairs offered here were produced and sold in 1992 and come directly from the original owner. Delivery includes the original control certificate. Literature reference: PHILIPPE STARCK, Taschen Verlag, page 44.
