Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning and very rare full restored circa 1840-1860 Harpists Muscians chair with hand dyed brown leather height adjustable seat Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. A very good looking and well-made piece, the chair is height adjustable as you can see, its a honduras mahogany frame which is easily three times heavier than a normal frame of the same size with a nicely upholstered seat pad, the chair dates back to the very early Victorian era, it was made during a time when these grand houses had lots of rooms and specific pieces of furniture for said rooms, this would have of course been in the music room! The chair is in fully restored condition, the frame has been lightly polished to keep the original patina, the seat pad has been washed back, hand dyed six times, antiques, sealed waxed down and polished Dimensions Height:- 88cm Width:- 43cm Depth:- 49cm Seat height:- Adjustable from 48cm up to 63cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
