The 1900 Chair draws inspiration from the great tradition of French romantic gardens, public squares, and historic bandstands, blending decorative heritage with modern-day comfort and functionality. A true icon of ornamental metalwork, this garden chair combines timeless elegance with the technical expertise that has made Fermob a reference in outdoor furniture.
Redesigned just over a decade ago, the 1900 chair is now available in a stackable version, offering practical space-saving without compromising its refined aesthetic. Each piece showcases hand-forged scrolls and rings, crafted in Fermob's historic Thoissey workshops in eastern France, where artisanal know-how has been passed down through generations.
The perforated steel seat ensures comfortable seating and efficient water drainage, making the chair perfectly suited to outdoor use. Built to withstand the elements, the 1900 chair is protected by a durable polyester powder coating, ensuring excellent resistance to weather and long-term wear.
