About the Item
A beautiful set of 4 hand made and painted folk chairs from the 1950s. The chairs are made with the traditional Finnish folk renaissance style used in the 1700-1800s and are coloured with earthly tones of greens and browns. The chairs are made of solid pine and are quite light to move. The legs are typical of the style with support beams in two levels and the back is low, widens at the top and has traditional carvings.
The chairs have wear and tear consistent with age and use. Please refer to pictures.
Considering the hand paint and patina, this is a unique set at a fraction of the price of similar antique chairs.
