About the Item

A charming French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated wood child's chair. The chair is raised by elegant circular tapered fluted legs below richly chased rosettes. The apron displays a most decorative deeply carved fluted design extending along the front, sides, and back of the seat. The upholstered back support displays a fabulous oval shape with a finely detailed wrap around twisted ribbon band at the border. All original patina throughout. Seat Height: 17".
