This is an ultra-rare opportunity to acquire what is, unequivocally, the best of the best, it being a most spectacular, used George Smith Signature "Standard-Arm" Large fixed-back armchair, dressed in their iconic breathtaking, peerless Turkish Woollen Kilims and with hand-turned Mahogany legs with brass castors. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this listing, George Smith pieces are the epitome of classic English furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, George Smith create beautiful furniture built to last a lifetime, with there being no finer, or more beautifully appointed, example of their work than this. This piece is in handsome, original condition, having seen regular, domestic employment since its costly purchase many-moons ago.
