About the Item
The Olivier swivel easy chair, designed by Gijs Papavoine for Dutch manufacturer, Montis, is meant to evoke "a cut open fruit". It's sweeping curves contribute to this notion. Upholstered in Navy blue leather, the armchair stands on a plastic base which can rotate 360 degrees. The base is designed in such a way - with its short tapering neck - that the chair appears to float. It is sleek whilst generous and comfortable. This would fit seamlessly in a home of contemporary, or more traditional design.
