About the Item
Designed by W.H. Gispen in 1927, the Diagonal chairs were among the first to bend tubular steel into something elegant. With rattan backs and open silhouettes, they carry a breeze of the outdoors but are every bit an interior gesture, like sculpture that decided to pull up a seat at the table.
