About the Item

Hoffer, midcentury spider chair for Plan O, 1950s Stunning spider chair designed by Hoffer circa 1958 for Plan O. It has foldable circular tubular steel frames with an elastic cord seat recalling a spider web. The characteristic shape of the chair attributes to it the name "spider" due to the form the chords wrapped around the tubular metal structure make. The design thus makes it convenient to use both indoors and outdoors. Folding legs to facilitate flat storage. The chair can be collapsed and hung for storage. Original condition. Will be packed very well and safe for shipping.
