About the Item
Elegant set of 4 model 6911 armchairs designed by Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm, manufactured by Kill International Stuttgart, Germany 1968. These quality chairs have solid steel, matt chrome plated frames. The frames have a very nice and peculiar form, which makes these chairs unique in their own way. The heavy matt chrome steel frames support the high-quality black leather seat and back rest. Where the parts from the frames come together as twins, gives them an amazing back where most chairs are focussed on the front. The frames are connection with countersunk bolts which became a part of the design and are nice details in it. The organic form of the back rest provides a lot of comfort as it is fully foam filled. The chairs are in impeccable, fully original condition. It is hard to find chairs of this age in this condition. The chairs are priced and sold in a set of 4.
Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm were well known for the sturdy furniture, made of heavy and quality materials. Resulting in expensive, but durable furniture. Which can still be used today on a daily base. Without them knowing they designed a product which would be very important for the future as we recycle too little for the sake of the environment. These chairs for sure, are table to last for a long time still, that’s a deep going beauty in the thought of a good design.

View AllAugusto Bozzi Ariston dining chairs Saporiti Italy 1954
By Augusto Bozzi, Saporiti
Located in Roosendaal, Noord Brabant
Highly rare and beautiful set of 6 so called ‘Ariston’ dining chairs designed by Augusto Bozzi and manufactured by Saporiti, Italy 1954. These chairs have a pressed plywood seat which is finished with teak veneer at the front and back, the black painted metal wire frame supports the seats. The structure provides stability and also a nice contrast with the deep coloured plywood seats. The seats are only connected to the base with 2 screws which are decoratively worked away in the seat, but these details also support the aesthetics of the design. This style was popular in the 1950s. Bozzi was one of the designers who gained credits for his designs during that period, putting Saporiti on the map and becoming one of the big players...

Armin Wirth Aluflex folding chairs Switzerland 1951 4x
By Armin Wirth
Located in Roosendaal, Noord Brabant
Really nice set of 4 Aluflex folding chairs designed by Armin Wirth and manufactured by Hans Zollinger Sohne in Switzerland in 1951. Known for their convenience these chairs are lightweight and have foldable seats allowing you to stack and store the four chairs in the space typically occupied by just one. Despite their transparent and light appearance they offer comfort and support just like regular dining chairs. Constructed with tubular aluminum frames and seats and backs made of painted birch plywood they not only look sleek but also provide a pleasant seating experience. Notably, three chairs have a painted FDB mark at the back. This was probably the previous place the were. Though the specific location remains unidentified. The ALUFLEX metal tag sits at the back of the frames. Super practical and colourful...
