Italian modern black and blue chair Sofia by Carlo Bartoli for Bonaldi, 1980s
Folding chair mod. Sofia with structure in black painted metal rod. The round seat is in black plastic, the backrest is in light blue plastic and is slightly curved. The metal rod legs are rectangular in shape, the foot is in black plastic.
Produced by Bonaldo Design in 1980s and designed by Carlo Bartoli. Features logo.
Good condition, the back has a strong discoloration with some defects and some scratches due to use and time.

Carlo Bartoli
Carlo Bartoli, born in Milan in 1931, is an Italian architect and designer. He created many successful works, such as the Gaia armchair, included in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale. Bartoli was awarded the ADI Compasso d'Oro for Lifetime Achievement.
