Pair of folding chairs model Plia with square seat and rectangular backrest, in transparent ABS plastic. The structure and legs with rounded section are in steel.
Produced by Anonima Castelli in 1970s and designed by Giancarlo Piretti. Brand present on the plastic.
Fair conditions. The plastic has light signs of use and is yellowed. The metal has numerous signs of aging and use.

Giancarlo Piretti
Giancarlo Piretti was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1940. He attended art schools there and subsequently taught Interior Design. During that time, he was also designing furniture for Anonima Castelli. He has won numerous awards and has items in many museums, including MoMA, New York. He still lives and works in Bologna with his son, designer Alessandro Piretti.
