About the Item

The Sedia 1 chair is made using a singular sheet of stainless steel. The steel, folded, then polished, reflects the external world back onto its mirrored surface. Uncanny, surreal and ever shifting. Designed by Julia Chiaramonti (b.1978), a French-Italian furniture designer whose interest lies in working with noble materials and fitting them into everyday or peculiar contexts. The piece is in a great condition, with no obvious markings. The only few welding seams are hidden inside the folding. H84.5 W45.5 D54cm
