About the Item

A mid-century lounge chair designed by Isamu Kenmochi for Kotobuki. This chair features an organically contoured upholstered shell in a warm green tone, supported by elegant chromed steel legs — a characteristic combination in Kenmochi’s 1960s output. The sculptural form provides excellent ergonomics while maintaining a refined architectural presence. A beautifully preserved example of Japanese mid-century design and a collectible work from one of Japan’s most influential designers.
