Set of 5 chairs model “Medea” by Vittorio Nobili, produced by Fratelli Tagliabue, circa 1955 designed by Vittorio Nobili in the fifties, characterized by the characteristic curved seat in beech plywood and the tubular metal structure painted black. The “Medea” model is one of the symbols of post-war Italian design, awarded at the Milan Triennale and appreciated for its sculptural elegance and perfect synthesis of form and function.
Good general condition, with patina compatible with age and use. Provenance: private collection.
