C. Bologna, 1964.
He was a prominent figure in twentieth-century Italian architecture. During his long career he had the opportunity to interpret the great currents of ideas of his time, from the rationalism of the 1930s to the international style of the 1950s. He was very close to people of absolute value, including Gio Ponti, who entrusted him with the direction of the magazine Domus for a short period of two years during the war. He built dozens of villas and apartments for the important families of the time and among his most important projects he built the Torre Galfa skyscraper in 1960 opposite Ponti's famous Pirelli skyscraper.
