About the Item
Polish production chairs from Plastics Factory 'Krywald' in Knurow have embossed signatures. They come from the 1970s. The author of this project is the Danish architect Steen Østergaard, who in 1974 designed this pattern for Cado manufacture.
The chairs are made of so-called hardplastic. It is a very resistant, hardened plastic, popular for that period.
They are after full renovation. Red semi matte option. We can also prepare another colors on request.
About the designer:
Steen Østergaard (Denmark, December 21, 1935) is a Danish architect and industrial designer. One of his most famous designs is the '290' chair. This was the first chair that could be produced by injection molding in a single operation. Østergaard's designs are characterized by attention to aesthetics and human anatomy. Some of the designs stergaard created in the 1960s were re-released in the early 21st century.
