About the Item

Mid-Century Modern Pair of Chairs by Emiel Veranneman Over the years, Veranneman has gained international recognition for his designs, which have been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. His designs are characterized by a minimalist and functionalist approach, with a judicious use of materials such as wood, metal and leather. In addition to his career as a designer, Veranneman was also an avid art collector and founded the gallery De Zwarte Panter in Antwerp, Belgium. He also worked as a teacher and trained many designers during his career. Today, Emiel Veranneman's works are part of the permanent collections of many museums, and his designs continue to inspire contemporary designers around the world.
