Antique pair of Yorkshire Back Stools / Hall Chairs, England, 18th century. Solid oak with two curved backrests featuring hand-carved natural motifs. The stained oak is beautifully aged and the chairs are very solid. Documented in Tobias Jellinek’s book on Early British Chairs and Seats, Page 292, Plate: 408.
