About the Item
A pair of northern Swedish antique baroque chairs from the mid to late 1700s, around 1770. The chairs are provincial and have a stately appearance with tall backs and hand carved details. The pair has been restored by hand to the original paint with the rustic patina of time. The chairs would work well as side chairs for decorating purposes as well as dining chairs, for example as head chairs in a larger arrangement.
