About the Item
These two antique mountain chairs are a beautiful example of traditional South German craftsmanship from the early 19th century. Crafted from solid pine, the chairs are assembled entirely with mortise and tenon joints. They feature an old ochre-yellow paint finish that has worn away over time in a characteristic way. This natural patina gives the chairs a unique, warm appearance and emphasizes their authenticity.
The chairs have recently been carefully inspected and are sturdy, stable, and ready for daily use. Any old, sporadic woodworm marks have been checked and treated.
